Alvarez Gets A Perfect 10 | Manchester City Players Rated In Impressive Win Vs Crvena Zvezda

Manchester City welcomed Crvena Zvezda at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result in the UEFA Champions League. Pep Guardiola‘s men made a dominant start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 45th minute when Osman Bukari found the back of the net. Man City were trailing 1-0 at the half-time break.

Julian Alvarez scored a quick-fire brace soon after the restart to put his team 2-1 up at the hour mark. Rodri killed the game off in the 73rd minute when he joined in on the goal-scoring act. The contest finished with the Mancunian club earning an impressive 3-1 win at the Etihad.

LB: Sergio Gomez – 7/10

The Spaniard managed to create a handful of excellent chances for his teammates to score.

CM: Matheus Nunes – 8/10

He performed his defensive duties well and managed to engineer a lot of meaningful openings for others around him in the opponent’s half.

CM: Rodri – 8.5/10

The Spanish midfielder ran the show in the final third and has got a goal to show for his efforts.

RW: Bernardo Silva – 6.5/10

Silva caught the eye at times but had to be replaced in the 43rd minute.

CAM: Julian Alvarez – 10/10

The Argentine sensation was simply unplayable at times and bagged a brace early in the second half which made the difference tonight.

LW: Phil Foden – 7.5/10

Foden caused a lot of headaches for the opposition defenders and ended the game with an assist to his name.

ST: Erling Haaland – 7.5/10

The Norway international was not shy of having a shot attempt. There was no goal for him tonight but he deserves credit for securing an assist.
