Tottenham Hotspur will lock horns with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday evening as they try to secure a good result in the North London derby. Spurs managed to secure an impressive 2-1 win over Sheffield United recently, so they will fancy their chances of claiming something from this clash versus the Gunners this weekend.
Angelos Postecoglu will opt for a 4-3-3 formation and could make one change to his starting XI for this game. Richarlison will get a chance to spearhead Tottenham’s attack up top.
4-3-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup To Face Arsenal
Defence
Guglielmo Vicario will operate in goal for Spurs after shipping in one goal in his last Premier League outing. Cristian Romero will play alongside Micky van de Ven at the heart of Tottenham’s backline as they look to keep the Arsenal forwards frustrated during the 90 minutes.
Pedro Porro will be a nailed-on starter at right-back while Destiny Udogie hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Postecoglu will ask both of them to keep things solid at the back and cause the opposition full-backs a few problems on the counter.
Ben Davies and Emerson Royal will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Postecoglu could go with a midfield three of James Maddison, Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr as they look to make life tough for the Gunners at the centre of the park.
Maddison will have to carry most of the creative burden for Tottenham in the final third.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if needed.
Attack
Heung-min Son will try to give a good account of himself on the left flank while Dejan Kulusevski looks to weave his magic as the right-winger.
Richarlison will lead the charge for the visitors in the final third. He scored the winner versus Sheffield United last weekend which could give his confidence a boost ahead of this derby.
Brennan Johnson will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the latter stages if told to do so.
