Chelsea entertained Luton Town at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a positive result in front of their home fans. The Blues made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 17th minute when Raheem Sterling found the back of the net. Mauricio Pochettino’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Sterling doubled his team’s advantage in the 68th minute before Nicolas Jackson killed the game off just seven minutes later. The contest ended with the Blues earning an impressive 3-0 win in the English capital.
