Manchester City faced off against Arsenal at Wembley Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to earn a good result in the FA Community Shield final. Pep Guardiola‘s men made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.
Man City made a quick start to the second 45 minutes and scored the opening goal in the 77th minute when Cole Palmer scored with a great finish. However, Leandro Trossard equalised for the Gunners with a deflected strike in injury time as the match ended 1-1 after the full-time whistle.
Man City ended up losing the game on penalties by a 4-1 scoreline.
