In a recent report, Cadena SER stated that Real Madrid have identified Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic as a target for this summer transfer window. It has been claimed that Los Blancos are eyeing the Serbian centre-forward as an emergency option if they fail to land Kylian Mbappe this summer.
Vlahovic’s Good Run Of Form In Italian Football Last Season
Vlahovic was a reliable performer for Juventus on the attacking end of the pitch after he produced a string of productive displays for them last season. The 23-year-old found the back of the net 14 times and picked up four assists in 42 appearances for the Turin side in the previous campaign across all competitions.
The Serbian sensation proved his worth as a decent contributor in the final third by averaging 2.5 shots, 0.8 key passes and 0.5 dribbles per 90 minutes in Serie A. However, he has to find a way to improve his link-up play as he completed just 72.1% of his attempted passes in the Italian top tier (stats via whoscored).
The Belgrad-born talent’s current contract at Juventus will expire in 2026. Therefore, Los Blancos will have to make a sizable offer if they want to land Vlahovic in this off-season.
