In a recent tweet, Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie stated that Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden is set to seal a loan move to Luton Town after having his medical with them on Monday. It is understood that the English talent will leave the Magpies and make a loan switch to Luton Town.
Isaac Hayden has agreed a loan move to Premier League side Luton Town. The Newcastle midfielder has being undergoing a medical today in London.

Hayden’s Solid Loan Spell At Carrow Road
Hayden had a decent loan spell at Norwich City last season when he put in a run of solid displays at the heart of their midfield. The English midfield ace was involved in 14 matches for the Canaries in the previous campaign but failed to score or create a goal for them in the EFL Championship.
The 28-year-old anchored the midfield well for Norwich and deserves credit for averaging 1.6 tackles, 1.1 interceptions and 1.1 clearances per game in the English Championship. He was even accurate when distributing possession from midfield after making 80.8% of his attempted passes in the second tier of English football (stats via whoscored).
His current deal at Newcastle will run out in the summer of 2026. Hence, it makes sense for the player to seal a move to Luton Town in search of regular game time this season.
Newcastle United Midfielder Isaac Hayden Set To Move To Luton Town On Loan: Good Move For Everyone Involved?
Hayden is a solid tackler of the ball and can make life difficult for the opposition in the middle of the park. He can make some crucial interceptions for his team and usually puts his foot through the ball when required.
The English talent is a tidy passer of the ball as well. However, he would have struggled to play for Newcastle if he continued to stay with them beyond this summer.
Eddie Howe has already got enough depth in his midfield department. At the moment, Hayden is surplus to requirements at the Tyneside club. Thus, it will be a good move for both the Magpies and the player if he ends up signing for Luton Town on loan this month.
