Real Madrid will clash heads with Almeria at the Power Horse Stadium this weekend as they hope to secure maximum points on the road in La Liga. Los Blancos secured a 2-0 win away at Athletic Bilbao recently which will give them some confidence ahead of this clash.
Carlo Ancelotti will opt for a 4-4-2 formation and could make a few changes to his first XI for this game. Kepa Arrizabalaga will get a chance to play from the start of this game in the injury absence of Thibaut Courtois who is sidelined due to an ACL tear.
4-4-2 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Almeria
Defence
Kepa Arrizabalaga is set to make his Real Madrid debut as he looks to keep a clean sheet away from home this weekend.
Antonio Rudiger will play alongside David Alaba at the centre of Real Madrid’s defence as they try to keep things solid on the defensive third of the pitch.
Dani Carvajal will try to catch the eye as the right-back while Fran Garcia hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them would be given the license to get forward and express themselves in the Almeria half.
Nacho will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Aurelian Tchouameni will anchor the midfield for Los Blancos while both Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde play just ahead of him as the box-to-box midfielders. All three of them need to retain possession well and create some inviting chances in the final third.
Jude Bellingham will get a chance to impress in the number ten position. He produced an excellent debut in his debut versus Bilbao, so all eyes will be on the English youngster to make a difference at the Power Horse Stadium this weekend.
Luka Modric and Toni Kroos will be named on the bench and might come on in the second half if needed.
Attack
Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr. will lead the line for the Madrid giants in the final third. Both of them would be hungry to find the back of the net versus Almeria this weekend.
Joselu and Brahim Diaz will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to impress as the late-game substitutes if Ancelotti opts to call upon their services.
