In a recent report, The Telegraph mentioned that Real Madrid will begin talks to land Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe this summer. It has been claimed that Los Blancos are set to open talks with the French club to sign their prized asset in this ongoing transfer window.
Mbappe’s Outstanding Form In Paris Last Season
Mbappe had another excellent season at Parc des Princes recently as he was responsible for producing a lot of match-winning displays in Ligue 1. The France international banged in 41 goals and grabbed ten assists in 43 matches for PSG in the previous campaign on all fronts.
The 24-year-old was a real menace in front of the opposition goal and did well to average 4.4 shots, 1.6 key passes and 2.2 dribbles per 90 minutes in Ligue 1. He was even tidy when distributing the ball in the opponent’s half after completing 82.9% of his attempted passes in league football (stats via whoscored).
Mbappe is under contract at PSG until the end of next season which could open the door for Los Blancos to sign him on a reduced fee this summer.
