In a recent report, The Athletic stated that Real Madrid starlet Alex Jimenez is close to sealing a loan move to AC Milan this summer. It has been claimed that the Spanish full-back is set to part ways with Los Blancos and complete a loan move to San Siro.
Jimenez’s Recent Rise In Spanish Football
Jimenez is a product of Real Madrid’s youth system. He deserves credit for making his way up their youth ranks and establishing himself as a key member of the Madrid club’s Under-19 team.
The 18-year-old has also made seven appearances for Real Madrid Castilla so far, picking up a couple of assists in the process across all competitions.
The Spanish prospect has caught the eye with his performances in the youth levels of Spanish football. However, he is yet to get a senior call-up from Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti and might benefit from a loan move away from the Spanish capital during this summer transfer period.

At the moment, Jimenez is simply not good enough to feature in Carlo Ancelotti‘s first XI. Therefore, it makes sense for both the player and the Madrid club to temporarily part ways during this summer transfer window.
At 18, the future looks quite promising for Jimenez. However, he is struggling to break through at his boyhood club. Thus, it is only fair to the young full-back if the Madrid giants allow him to leave on loan before the start of the new campaign.
