In a recent edition of the Here We Go podcast, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano offered an update on the future of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. Romano said,
“I think yes, I’m told that there is a chance because Daniel Levy is prepared to fight in a crazy way to keep the player, to offer him a new deal and also to show Tottenham fans after a difficult season, they can keep the player at the club.
“For sure Harry Kane is considering some options, because Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is 100% convinced that Kane is the perfect striker for his idea, but again negotiating with Daniel Levy will not be easy at all, so I don’t see that as an easy one for Manchester United.”
Kane’s Excellent Record In English Football This Season
Kane Set To Remain At Tottenham Hotspur: Big Boost For Spurs?
Kane excels at generating a yard of space inside the opponent’s penalty box that helps him get a few strikes in on-target. He remains a deadly finisher in the final third and can also orchestrate some meaningful openings for his teammates up top. The England international is a good dribbler with the ball as well but has to find a way to improve his passing accuracy up top.
Kane remains the most important member of Tottenham‘s squad. Hence, keeping him at the North London club would be a big boost for Spurs this summer.
Kane is under contract at the London club until the end of next season. Hence, Daniel Levy would be wise to keep hold of him at least until next year as he could help Tottenham clinch a top-four spot in the 2023-24 Premier League campaign.
