Williams has enjoyed a decent campaign at Bilbao as he has put in a run of impressive displays on the right side of their frontline. The 20-year-old deserves a lot of credit for scoring nine goals and grabbing six assists in 43 matches for the Spanish outfit this season across all fronts.
The Pamplona-born talent has been a decent performer in the final third based on his average of 1.7 shots, 1.3 key passes and 2.3 dribbles per 90 minutes in La Liga. He has even taken care of the ball when distributing possession in the opponent’s half based on his pass completion rate of 78.4% in top-flight football (stats via whoscored).
Williams is under contract at Bilbao until the summer of 2024. Hence, the Gunners could potentially sign him on a cut-price fee in the upcoming transfer window.
