Celtic will face off against Inverness at Hampden Park on Saturday as they look to secure a win in the Scottish Cup final and add another silverware to their trophy cabinet. The Hoops managed to secure a dominant 5-0 win over Aberdeen recently which will keep them in high spirits ahead of this game.
Angelos Postecoglou will set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to name a strong first XI for this game. Kyogo Furuhashi will lead the line for the Glaswegian side on the attacking end of the field while Oh Hyeon-gyu drops to the bench.
4-3-3 Celtic Predicted Lineup To Face Inverness
Defence
Joe Hart will feature in between the sticks for the Hoops after keeping a clean sheet in his last league appearance. Tomoki Iwata will play alongside Carl Starfelt at the centre of Celtic‘s backline as they try to keep things solid at the back during the game.
Alistair Johnston will fill in as the right-back while Grey Taylor looks to catch the eye as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to express themselves in the opponent’s half so that they can offer adequate support to the front players.
Anthony Ralston will provide cover for the right-back position on the bench.
Midfield
Reo Hatate, Callum McGregor and Matt O’Riley will make up Celtic’s midfield as they try to dominate the game at the centre of the park and engineer enough chances to win this final.
Ben Summers and David Turnbull will have to settle for a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second half if required.
Attack
Jota will function as the left-sided wide player while Liel Abada hopes to put in a productive display on the right.
Kyogo Furuhashi will lead the line for the Hoops in the final third. He scored a brace versus Aberdeen recently, so we can expect him to be a real difference make for Celtic this Saturday.
Oh Hyeon-gyu will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if the Hoops are in need of a goal by then.
