Chelsea will welcome Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge this Saturday afternoon as they look to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Blues managed to earn an impressive 3-1 win away at Bournemouth recently which will keep them in high spirits ahead of this game.
Frank Lampard will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a couple of changes to his first XI for this clash. Both Cesar Azpilicueta and Raheem Sterling will get a chance to play from the start of this game in West London.
4-3-3 Chelsea Predicted Lineup To Face Nottingham Forest
Defence
Kepa Arrizabalaga will function in goal for the Blues after shipping in one goal in his last league outing. Thiago Silva will play alongside Benoit Badiashile at the centre of the Chelsea backline as they try to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Trevoh Chalobah will fill in as the right-back while Cesar Azpilicueta hopes to catch the eye as the left-back. Both of them would be eager to make a difference for the Blues out on the flanks.
Lewis Hall will offer cover for the left-back position on the bench.
Midfield
Conor Gallagher, Enzo Fernandez and N’Golo Kante will make up Chelsea’s midfield as they try to dominate the ball and engineer enough chances for the Blues to win this contest.
Mateo Kovacic will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if Lampard decides to call upon his services.
Attack
Raheem Sterling will get a chance to catch the eye as the left-sided wide player while Nono Madueke hopes to put his pace to good use on the right.
Kai Havertz will lead the line for the West London club on the attacking end of the field. The German forward has to figure out a way to threaten the Nottingham goal if Chelsea want to secure an easy win at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
Joao Felix will be named on the bench as he waits for his opportunity to impress in the latter stages of the game if the London club are in need of a goal by then.
