Celtic will face off against Kilmarnock at the BBSP Stadium Rugby Park this Sunday as they try to secure all three points on the road. The Scottish outfit managed to secure a 3-2 win over Rangers recently which will keep them in high spirits ahead of this game.
Angelos Postecoglou will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to name a strong first XI for this game. Kyogo Furuhashi will once again lead the charge for the Glaswegian giants on the attacking end of the pitch.
4-3-3 Celtic Predicted Lineup To Face Kilmarnock
Defence
Joe Hart will function in goal for the Glaswegian side after shipping in a couple of goals in his last appearance. Cameron Carter-Vickers will operate alongside Carl Starfelt at the heart of the Celtic backline as they focus on keeping things solid at the back throughout the 90 minutes.
Michael Johnston will fill in at right-back while Greg Taylor looks to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them would be eager to catch the eye in the wide areas.
Alexandro Bernabei will offer cover for the left-back position on the bench.
Midfield
Matthew O’Riley, Callum McGregor and Aaron Mooy will make up Celtic’s midfield as they try to establish their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park. All three of them need to be at the top of their game if the Glaswegian outfit want to secure a convincing win on the road this weekend.
James McCarthy will be sidelined for this game due to a thigh problem. However, Tomoki Iwata will be available for selection on the bench.
Attack
Daizen Maeda will get a chance to impress on the left flank while Jota hopes to prove his worth from the right.
As mentioned earlier, Kyogo Furuhashi will lead the line for Celtic in the final third. He managed to score a brace in his last outing, so his confidence will be sky-high ahead of this game.
Oh Hyeon-gyu will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the latter stages if Postecoglou’s side are in need of a goal by then.
