Barcelona will welcome Osasuna at the Nou Camp on Tuesday night as they focus on securing another good result in La Liga. The Catalan club managed to earn a dominant 4-0 win over Real Betis recently which will give them a lot of momentum ahead of this game.
Xavi will set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make one change to his starting XI for this game. Franck Kessie could get a chance to play from the start while Frenkie de Jong drops to the bench.
4-3-3 Barcelona Predicted Lineup To Face Osasuna
Defence
Marc-André ter Stegen will function in between the sticks for the Catalan club after he kept a clean sheet in his last league outing. Ronald Araujo will operate alongside Andreas Christensen at the heart of Barca’s backline as they try to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Jules Kounde will be a nailed-on starter as the right-back while Alejandro Balde hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Xavi will give both of them the freedom to express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Marcos Alonso and Jordi Alba will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Xavi will probably opt for a midfield three of Pedri, Sergio Busquets and Franck Kessie as they try to establish their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park. All three of them need to move the ball with conviction if they want to engineer enough chances to secure a convincing win in midweek.
Frenkie de Jong will be named on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if required.
Attack
Ousmane Dembele could get a chance to impress as the left-sided wide player while Raphinha hopes to catch the eye on the right flank.
Robert Lewandowski will lead the charge for the Catalan club on the attacking end of the field. The Polish striker managed to get his name on the scoresheet versus Real Betis recently which will keep him in high spirits ahead of this game.
Ansu Fati will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if Barca are in need of a goal by then.
