Leeds United will welcome Leicester City at Elland Road this Tuesday night as they try to grab all three points in front of their home fans. The Whites suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Fulham recently, so they will be desperate to bounce back by securing a positive result in midweek.
Javi Gracia will opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation and could be inclined to make a few changes to his first XI for this game. Both Junior Firpo and Luke Ayling will get an opportunity to impress from the start of this contest in Yorkshire.
4-2-3-1 Leeds United Predicted Lineup To Face Leicester City
Defence
Illan Meslier will feature in between the sticks for the Whites after conceding a couple of goals in his last league outing. Robin Koch will function alongside Maximilian Wober at the centre of the Leeds backline as they look to keep a clean sheet versus the Foxes in midweek.
Luke Ayling will get a chance to catch the eye as the right-back while Junior Firpo fills in on the other flank as the left-back. Gracia will ask both of them to keep a solid defensive shape at the back.
Liam Cooper will drop to the bench as he provides cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Adam Forshaw and Marc Roca will anchor the midfield for Leeds United as they hope to make life difficult for the opposition at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Jack Harrison, Brendan Aaronson and Luis Sinisterra will play just ahead of them as part of Leeds’ attack. All three of them need to move the ball well in the Leicester half so that they can create enough chances for the Whites to win this home clash.
Crysencio Summerville will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to shine in the second half if required.
Attack
Patrick Bamford will lead the charge for the West Yorkshire giants in the final third. He will have to carry most of the goal-scoring workload for the home side on his own up top.
Rodrigo will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if Gracia decides to call upon his services.
