Manchester City locked horns with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park earlier this evening as they looked to bag all three points on the road. Pep Guardiola‘s men made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.
Man City pushed on in search of the winner in the second half and finally found it courtesy of Erling Haaland’s penalty in the 78th minute. The contest ended with the Mancunian side earning a hard-fought 2-1 draw away from home.

Ake was a strong presence in the air and made two decent chances in the final third.

The Spaniard was a positive influence at both ends of the field and won his fair share of aerial duels as well.

He controlled the flow of the game well at the centre of the park.
RW: Phil Foden – 7/10
Foden worked hard defensively and was a lively presence in the Palace half.

He showed a couple of glimpses of what he is capable of but failed to register a goal.

The English sensation made some good runs with the ball on the left wing and engineered a couple of inviting chances for his teammates.

Haaland was a potent threat in the final third and managed to score the only goal of the game from the penalty spot.
