Real Madrid faced off against Al-Hilal at the Moulay Abdellah Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a good result in the FIFA Club World Cup. Los Blancos made a quick start to the game and raced to a 2-0 lead within the first 18 minutes of the contest, thanks to goals from Vinicius Junior and Federico Valverde. Moussa Marega pulled a goal back for Al-Hilal in the 26th minute as the Madrid giants went into the half-time break with a 2-1 lead.
Karim Benzema restored his team’s two-goal lead in the 54th minute before Valverde scored again just four minutes later which put the match to bed. Luciano Vietto found the back of the net for Al-Hilal in the 63rd minute which was canceled out by Vinicius Jr’s second goal in the 69th minute. Vietto got his name on the scoresheet once again in the 79th minute as Los Blancos cruised to a 5-3 win at the Moulay Abdellah Stadium.
Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player fared during the match against Al-Hilal.
GK: Andriy Lunin – 5/10
Lunin hardly had anything to do in the game other than pick the ball up from his own net three times.
RB: Dani Carvajal – 7/10
He was a real threat in the opposition half and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CB: Antonio Rudiger – 5/10
The German defender looked shaky at the back and won’t be happy after conceding three goals tonight.
CB: David Alaba – 5/10
He was caught out of position far too often and produced a complacent display on the defensive end of the field.
LB: Eduardo Camavinga – 7/10
He gave a good account of himself when defending inside his half. Ancelotti would be happy with his performance as a makeshift left-back tonight.
CM: Luka Modric – 6.5/10
Modric engineered some meaningful openings for his teammates in the final third but offered little cover defensively.
CM: Aurelien Tchouameni – 6/10
He showed some flashes of his brilliance and had to go off injured in the second half.
CM: Toni Kroos – 7/10
Kroos ran the show from midfield and used his experience well at times during the game.
RW: Federico Valverde – 9/10
He scored a brace to help Real Madrid secure another FIFA Club World Cup trophy.
ST: Karim Benzema – 8/10
The French striker was a bit wasteful in the final third but got his name on the scoresheet in the 54th minute.
LW: Vinicius Junior – 9/10
He scored a goal in each half which gave Real Madrid the platform to go and secure a dominant win tonight.
Substitutes:

Rodrygo showed some promise but failed to register a goal.
CM: Dani Ceballos – 6.5/10
He kept the ball moving well from the middle of the park.

Nacho struggled to get into the rhythm of the game.

The Spaniard failed to influence the game.
