West Ham United will entertain Nottingham Forest at the London Stadium on Saturday as they look to secure a win at home in the Premier League. The Hammers suffered a 2-0 loss away at Tottenham Hotspur recently which has drained their confidence ahead of this game.
David Moyes will probably opt for a 3-4-2-1 formation and could make a few changes to his first XI for this game. Said Benrahma and Danny Ings will get a chance to play from the start in this clash this weekend.
3-4-2-1 West Ham United Predicted Lineup To Face Nottingham Forest
Defence
Lukasz Fabianski will feature in goal for the Hammers after shipping in a couple of goals in his last appearance.
Moyes could opt for a back three of Thilo Kehrer, Angelo Ogbonna and Nayef Aguerd as they try to keep things solid at the back this weekend. All three of them need to be at the top of their game if the Hammers are to keep a clean sheet versus Nottingham.
Kurt Zouma is unlikely to be ready in time for this game as he is currently recovering from a thigh injury. However, Ben Johnson should be available for selection on the bench as he offers cover for the defensive spots.
Midfield
Declan Rice and Tomas Socuek will anchor the midfield for West Ham as they try to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and orchestrate some promising chances in the final third.
Emerson Palmieri will fill in as the left-sided wide player while Vladimir Coufal hopes to catch the eye on the right flank. Both of them will be instructed to keep a solid shape at the back and make some energetic runs going forward.
Said Benrahma and Jarrod Bowen could get the nod to function as the free-flowing attacking midfielders. The dynamic duo would have to carry most of the creative burden for the Hammers in the final third.
Pablo Fornals will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game if Moyes decides to call upon his services.
Attack
Danny Ings will probably get a chance to lead the line for West Ham United on his own up top. He needs a goal to boost his confidence, so this game could be an ideal opportunity for him to get back some form back in front of the opponent’s goal.
