Disasi’s Impressive Run Of Form At The Stade Louis II
Disasi is having a promising campaign at the French club after producing a string of impressive displays for them on the defensive third of the pitch. The 24-year-old has featured in 28 matches for Monaco this season, netting four goals and picking up four assists in the process across all fronts.
The French defensive ace has given a good account of himself when defending inside his half based on his average of 1.2 tackles, 1.9 interceptions and 2.9 clearances per 90 minutes in the Ligue 1. He has even distributed the ball relatively well as he has completed 83.8% of his attempted passes in the top tier of French football (stats via whoscored).
Disasi is under contract at Monaco until the summer of 2025. Hence, the Red Devils will have to launch a big-money move if they are to acquire the services of the French central defender this year.
Should Manchester United Boss Erik Ten Hag Snap Disasi Up?
Disasi is a solid tackler of the ball and doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot. He can sense the danger quickly to earn the ball back for his team on the defensive end of the pitch. The French centre-back can use his strong 1.90m frame to dominate the opposition attackers in the air. He is even proficient at playing his way out from the back and mainly operates as a central defender but can also fill in as a right-back if his manager asks him to do so.
Someone with Disasi’s skillset will definitely be a great signing for Man United this year. He is good enough to add more bite and steel to Erik ten Hag‘s defensive department at Old Trafford.
At 24, the French talent will only get better in the coming seasons which makes him a good option for the Mancunian giants to pursue this winter or at the end of this campaign. He could even help the Red Devils challenge for some top honours in the coming seasons. Thus, ten Hag should try everything in his power to snap Disasi up this year.
