Liverpool entertained Chelsea at Anfield earlier today as they looked to bounce back with a win in the Premier League. The Reds made a poor start to the game and were held to a scoreless draw at half-time.
The Merseyside club were slightly better in the second 45 minutes but were lackluster in the final third. The contest finished with Jurgen Klopp’s men settling for a 0-0 draw in front of their home supporters.

He performed his defensive duties well and made one good run with the ball.

The French talent gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and was a bit sloppy with his passing.
CB: Joe Gomez – 7.5/10
Gomez defended his penalty box with conviction and was a good presence on the ball as well.
LB: Andrew Robertson – 7/10
He got stuck in with a couple of solid tackles and made some decent dashes in the Chelsea half.
CM: Naby Keita – 6.5/10
Keita showed what he is capable of at times but lacked invention in the final third.
CM: Stefan Bajcetic – 7/10
He anchored the midfield with conviction and engineered two good chances in the opponent’s half.
CM: Thiago Alcantara – 7.5/10
Thiago came back to defend when needed and managed to cause a few problems for the Chelsea defenders.
RW: Mohamed Salah – 6.5/10
He showed some flashes of his brilliance but was toothless in front of the opposition goal.
ST: Cody Gakpo – 6.5/10
Gakpo had a few strikes at goal but never looked like he would score.
LW: Harvey Elliott – 6/10
He worked hard but failed to cause Chelsea problems from the left flank.
