Speculations of his move to Elland Road have been underway for the past few weeks, however, the Whites are reportedly afraid that another Premier League club might hijack their plans the longer they take to finalise the deal.

McKennie is personally having a decent campaign at the Allianz Stadium as he has managed to establish himself as a key member of the squad under the tutelage of Massimiliano Allegri. The 24-year-old has made 21 appearances for the Italian club this season, netting three goals and grabbing one assist in all competitions.
The United States International has struggled to perform at a high level based on his average of 0.9 tackles, 0.7 interceptions, 0.9 clearances, 0.5 shots, 0.5 key passes and 0.3 dribbles per game in Serie A. The United States international can strike the ball well from long range and has got the eye to make a few decisive passes on the attacking end of the pitch.
