Barcelona faced off against Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final at the King Fahd Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure a victory in Saudi Arabia. Barca made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 33rd minute when Gavi found the back of the net. Robert Lewandowski doubled his team’s advantage in the 45th minute as Xavi’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Pedri killed the game off in the 69th minute when he found the back of the net. However, Real Madrid got a goal back in injury time via Karim Benzema’s effort as Barcelona cruised to a 3-1 win in the Spanish Super Cup final.

Dembele completed a couple of encouraging dribbles on the right flank but failed to register a goal.

The Spanish talent deserves a lot of credit for scoring in the 69th minute. However, he offered very little in the final third otherwise.
