Alphonso Davies is a professional footballer who functions as a left-back for Bayern Munich and the Canada national team. He has enjoyed a rapid rise in European football and deserves a lot of credit for establishing himself as one of the best left-backs in the Bundesliga over the past few years.
The 22-year-old is having another promising season in Munich as he has produced a series of impressive displays on the left side of Julian Nagelsmann’s defence. Davies has scored one goal and picked up four assists in 22 matches for the German club during this campaign across all competitions.

Alphonso Davies: Early Life
Davies was born in Buduburam, Ghana but had to move to the United States of America at a young age. He began his youth career at Whitecaps before going on to play for Vancouver in 2016.
Davies’ performances caught the eye of Bayern Munich soon after. In 2019, the Bundesliga heavyweights decided to bring him to the Allianz Arena.
The Canada international has made 137 appearances for the German club so far, finding the back of the net six times and grabbing 21 assists for them on all fronts.
