Hincapie has enjoyed a solid campaign in German football as he has been responsible for putting in a string of dominant displays for Leverkusen on the defensive end of the field. The 20-year-old has registered one goal in 21 matches for the German club this season across various competitions.
The Ecuadorian sensation has been a rock at the back for the German outfit based on his average of 1.5 tackles, 0.8 interceptions and 2.1 clearances per 90 minutes in Bundesliga. He has even been careful when distributing possession from the back, as evidenced by his pass completion rate of 83.3% in the German first division (stats via whoscored).
