Arsenal entertained West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a good result at home. The Premier League leaders made a decent start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 27th minute when Said Benrahma scored from the spot. Mikel Arteta’s men failed to come up with a response and went into the half-time interval 1-0 down on the scoreline.
The Gunners mounted an incredible comeback in the second half as they scored the equaliser via Bukayo Saka’s calm finish in the 53rd minute. Gabriel Martinelli completed the turnaround with a clinical strike just five minutes later. Eddie Nketiah stepped up and sealed the win for Arsenal when he got his name on the scoresheet in the 69th minute. The London derby ended with the Gunners earning an impressive 3-1 victory in front of their home fans.
