In a recent report, Mundo Deportivo claimed that Real Madrid will face stiff competition for Las Palmas youngster Alberto Moleiro. It has been mentioned that Los Blancos will have to rival Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, Barcelona and Manchester City for the Spanish attacker.
Moleiro’s Impressive Rise At Las Palmas
Moleiro is having a decent campaign at Las Palmas as he has managed to put in a few eye-catching displays for them in the final third. The 19-year-old has been involved in 15 matches for the Spanish side this season, picking up three assists in the process on all fronts. However, he has failed to register a goal for them thus far.
The talented teenager has done well to establish himself as a useful member of Las Palmas’ starting XI and is a prospect who will only get better in the coming seasons.
Moleiro’s current contract with the La Liga 2 outfit is set to expire in the summer of 2026. Hence, Los Blancos might struggle to land him on the cheap next year.
Real Madrid Face Stiff Competition For Moleiro: Is He A Prospect For The Future?
Moleiro is a decent passer of the ball and has got the eye to play some decisive through balls on the attacking end of the field. The Spaniard usually operates as an attacking midfielder as he can also be quite clever with his movements in and around the opponent’s penalty box. Moleiro can also play as a winger on either flank if his manager asks him to do so. Still, he needs to add some goals to his game if he seeks to earn more first-team starts in the coming seasons.
Moleiro is still quite raw and would need time before he is ready to play top-flight football every week at the highest level. At 19, the future is quite promising for the Spanish whizkid as long as he continues to improve his all-round game with each year.
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti would be wise to try everything he can to lure him to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium as he has the potential to become a future star in Spain. However, it might take some time for the youngster to settle into the Madrid club.
Even then, there is no denying that Moleiro is a prospect to watch out for in the future, so Ancelotti should think about getting him on board this January or at the end of this campaign.
