Manchester United faced off against Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena earlier this evening as they looked to earn a good result on the road in the UEFA Europa League. The Red Devils made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 17th minute courtesy of Alejandro Garnacho’s powerful strike. Erik ten Hag’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Both sides canceled each other out in the second half as the contest finished with Man United grinding out a 1-0 win away from home.

The Brazilian talent anchored the midfield with conviction but struggled to influence the game in the final third.

Eriksen made some important defensive contributions but was quite underwhelming going forward.
RW: Bruno Fernandes – 7/10
He engineered two good chances in the final third and made a couple of decent runs with the ball as well.
CAM: Donny van de Beek – 6/10
The talented playmaker was quiet for most of his time on the field.
LW: Alejandro Garnacho – 7.5/10
Garnacho found the back of the net with a powerful shot in the 17th minute.

The Portugal international had a few lively moments in the opponent’s half and picked up an assist for setting up Garnacho’s goal.
