Arsenal will face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday as they try to secure a good result in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to earn a 1-0 win over FC Zurich in the Europa League contest recently, so they will be looking to carry on the momentum and grab another victory.
Mikel Arteta will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make a few tweaks to his starting XI for this game. Gabriel Jesus could get the nod to lead the charge for the Gunners on the attacking end of the field.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted XI Vs Chelsea
Aaron Ramsdale will feature in between the sticks for the Gunners after keeping a clean sheet in his last outing. William Saliba could get the chance to impress alongside Gabriel at the heart of Arsenal’s backline as they hope to stop the opposition from scoring throughout the game.
Ben White will fill in at right-back while Kieran Tierney hopes to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get a chance to get forward and express themselves in the opposition half.
Rob Holding will be available for selection on the bench as he offers cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard will make up the Arsenal midfield as they focus on dominating the flow of the game at the centre of the park and orchestrating enough chances for the Gunners to win this away game. Odegaard will need to make a few decisive passes as a playmaker to create decent opportunities in front of the goal.
Fabio Vieira and Albert Sambi Lokonga will be rested on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second half if required.
Attack
Gabriel Martinelli will be eager to put in another productive performance on the left flank while Bukoya Saka hopes to catch the eye on the right wing.
Gabriel Jesus will lead the line for the North London club in the final third. The English striker will have to carry most of the goal-scoring workload for Arsenal on his own up top.
Eddie Nketiah will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if the Gunners are in need of a goal by then.
