Real Madrid entertained Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a win in front of their home supporters. Los Blancos made an excellent start to the game as they got themselves ahead in the fifth minute courtesy of Luka Modric’s finish from close range. The Madrid giants sat on their narrow lead well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men made a slow start to the second half and conceded the equaliser in the 54th minute when Erik Lamela found the back of the net. Lucas Vazquez gave his team the lead again with a simple finish in the 79th minute. Federico Valverde made the points secure when he scored just two minutes later as the Madrid outfit ended up earning a 3-1 victory in the Spanish capital.
