Manchester United clashed heads with Everton at Goodison Park earlier tonight as they looked to secure a victory on their travels. The Red Devils made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the fifth minute when Alex Iwobi found the back of the net with an excellent strike. However, Antony equalised for the visitors just ten minutes later with a clinical finish. Cristiano Ronaldo completed the turnaround just before the half-time break when he scored with a great run and finish. Man United were leading 2-1 at half-time.
Everton grew in confidence in the second half but Erik ten Hag’s men managed to defend their narrow lead well. Man United ended up securing a hard-fought 2-1 win away at Merseyside.
