Barcelona welcomed Villarreal at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they focused on collecting maximum points at home. The Catalan outfit made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 31st minute courtesy of Robert Lewandowski’s goal. The Polish striker scored again just four minutes later with a great strike before Ansu Fati put the contest to bed in the 38th minute when he scored from close range. Barca were leading 3-0 at half-time.
Xavi’s men sat on their lead well in the second 45 minutes and earned a comfortable 3-0 win in front of their home fans.

Gavi was accurate with his ball distribution and ended the game with an assist to his name.

He anchored the midfield with conviction and made two good runs with the ball.

The Spanish sensation did his fair share of defending but lacked quality in the final third.

Torres had a few bright moments in the Villarreal half but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

The Polish striker was unstoppable in the first half as he scored two quick-fire goals which gave Barca an ideal platform to go on and snatch the win.

Fati was a constant menace in front of the opposition goal and made the points secure for Barcelona by getting his name on the scoresheet in the 38th minute.
