Barcelona locked horns with Real Madrid at the Nou Camp earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result in the Clasico. The Catalan outfit made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the 12th minute when Karim Benzema scored for the home team. Federico Valverde doubled Real Madrid’s advantage in the 35th minute as Barca were left trailing 2-0 at half-time.
Xavi’s men got some pride back in the 83rd minute when Ferran Torres found the back of the net. However, Rodrygo scored an injury-time goal which killed the game off as Barcelona crashed to a disappointing 3-1 loss away from home.
Let’s take a look at how each Barcelona player performed during the match against Los Blancos.

CB: Jules Kounde – 6/10
Kounde got stuck in with some solid tackles but failed to keep things tidy at the back.
CB: Eric Garcia – 5.5/10

CM: Frenkie de Jong – 6.5/10
De Jong did a little bit of everything at the centre of the park but never looked like he would score.
CM: Sergio Busquets – 6.5/10
The Spanish talent earned the ball back twice and had a decent game in the opponent’s half.

Pedri struggled to control the flow of the game and had an underwhelming day at the Bernabeu.
RW: Raphinha – 7/10
He had a lot of bright moments in the final third but struggled to take any of his chances.
ST: Robert Lewandowski – 7/10
The Polish striker was always willing to launch a shot and did well to pick up an assist for setting up Torres’ consolation goal.
LW: Ousmane Dembele – 6.5/10
He had a few lively moments at both ends of the field but hardly got a sniff at goal.
