In a recent report, Marca offered an update on Real Madrid and their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe. It has been mentioned that Los Blancos have no plans to move in for the French striker even if PSG decides to sell him in 2024.
Mbappe’s Impressive Form At Parc Des Princes This Season
Mbappe is having another excellent campaign in Paris as he has already put in a handful of influential displays as the focal point of Christophe Galtier’s attack. The 23-year-old has banged in ten goals in nine matches for the French club this season across all competitions.
The France international has led the line exceptionally well for PSG based on his average of 5.1 shots, 1.7 key passes and 2.4 dribbles per 90 minutes in Ligue 1 football. He has even been accurate when linking up play in the final third, as evidenced by his pass completion rate of 86.4% in the top tier of French football (stats via whoscored).
Mbappe is having another outstanding season at Parc des Princes, so his excellent form won’t be a pleasant sight for any Real Madrid fan after the Spanish club missed out on him recently.
Is Real Madrid Boss Carlo Ancelotti Making The Right Call With Regards To Mbappe?
Mbappe has got electric pace under his belt and can complete a few dangerous dribbles on the attacking end of the field. He has got a knack for finding a yard of space inside the opposition penalty box and is a deadly finisher up top. Mbappe is primarily a centre-forward but can also fill in as a wide player on either flank if his manager tells him to do so.
The French attacker also doesn’t hesitate to set up a goal-scoring chance for his teammates when they are in a better position than him. Mbappe is the complete package and is on his way to becoming the best player in the world.
Still, Real Madrid have every reason to be unhappy after missing out on him earlier this summer. Thus, it feels like they are making the right call by refusing to make a move for him in the future. However, if the striker asks for a move to the Bernabeu in the future, Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti would be wise to rethink his stance on Mbappe as he could help the Madrid giants continue their dominance in Europe over the next decade.
