It is believed that the Blues could face competition in the form of Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign the Spanish sensation at the end of this season.

Torres is having another solid campaign with the Yellow Submarine as he has put in some dominant performances for them on the defensive third of the field. The 25-year-old has made eight appearances for Villarreal this season in all competitions.
