Manchester United faced off against Brentford at the Brentford Community Stadium earlier today as they looked to earn their first points of this Premier League campaign. The Red Devils made a horror start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the tenth minute when Josh Dasilva scored for the home team. Mathias Jensen doubled Brentford’s lead just eight minutes later before Ben Mee made it 3-0 at the half-hour mark. Bryan Mbuemo killed the game off when he scored in the 38th minute as Man United went into the half-time break 4-0 down on the scoreline.
Both teams canceled each other in the second half as Manchester United ended up suffering a dismal 4-0 defeat on the road.
Let’s take a look at how each Man United player fared during the clash against the Bees.

The Spanish talent made a huge mistake in the lead-up to Brentford’s opener. He ended up letting in three more goals in the first half. It was a horrible evening for the Man United keeper.
RB: Diogo Dalot – 6.5/10
Dalot was careless at times with his decision-making at the back but gave a good account of himself going forward.
CB: Harry Maguire – 6/10
He earned the ball back a couple of times but couldn’t stop the home team from wreaking havoc in the first half.
CB: Lisandro Martinez – 6.5/10
Martinez showed some fight in the second half but the damage was already done by then.
LB: Luke Shaw – 5/10

The Portugal international had a couple of bright moments in the final third but never looked like he would score.
RW: Jadon Sancho – 6/10
Sancho created two good chances in the opposition half but failed to find the back of the net. He was replaced near the hour mark.
ST: Cristiano Ronaldo – 6.5/10
Ronaldo was a real threat inside the Brentford penalty box but struggled to finish off any of his chances.
