Defence
Edouard Mendy is expected to operate in between the sticks for the upcoming clash. The Senegalese shot-stopper would hope to perform well and secure a clean sheet in the next fixture. Thiago Silva will form the centre-half partnership alongside Kalidou Koulibaly and Cesar Azpilicueta to form the three-man backline.
Midfield
With N’Golo Kante suffering from an injury and being sidelined for a few weeks, Jorginho will have to step up and be an integral part of Tuchel’s midfield. Ruben Loftus-Cheek will also feature in the holding midfield position alongside Jorginho to distribute the ball effectively and create enough chances in the final third.
