Arsenal welcomed Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium earlier this afternoon as they focused on collecting all three points at home. The Gunners made a good start to the game and took the lead in the 23rd minute when Gabriel Jesus scored with a great finish. The Brazilian striker doubled the Gunners’ advantage just 12 minutes later when he found the back of the net yet again from close range. Mikel Arteta’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
William Saliba scored an unfortunate own goal in the 53rd minute. However, just two minutes later, Granit Xhaka restored Arsenal’s two-goal advantage with an easy finish. James Maddison pulled a goal back for Leicester with an excellent strike in the 74th minute. Just a minute later, Gabriel Martinelli scored his team’s fourth goal with a low effort.
