Nunes had a decent campaign in Portuguese football recently as he managed to put in a series of influential displays for Sporting at the centre of the park. The 23-year-old registered four goals and five assists in 50 matches for the Portuguese outfit last season on all fronts.
The Brazil-born talent gave a good account of himself at the heart of Sporting’s midfield after he averaged 1.3 tackles, 0.9 interceptions, 0.6 shots, 0.7 key passes and 2.5 dribbles per game in Liga Portugal.
