Richarlison’s Long And Difficult Campaign At Merseyside
Richarlison experienced a tough season at Goodison Park as he struggled to be consistent in front of the opposition goal. The 25-year-old registered 11 goals and five assists in 33 matches for Everton during this campaign across multiple competitions.
The Brazil international has worked hard to average 1.3 tackles, 1.1 clearances, 2.4 shots, 1.0 key passes and 1.3 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Premier League. However, he has been sloppy with his ball distribution, as evidenced by his pass completion rate of 63.4% in the top tier of English football (stats via whoscored ).
Should Tottenham Hotspur Boss Antonio Conte Snap Richarlison Up This Summer?
Richarlison usually works tirelessly to help his teammates out at the back defensively and can even make some clever runs with the ball in the half opposition. The Everton attacker can be a streaky goal-getter when he is playing with confidence on the field.
The Brazilian talent has also got the vision to engineer some decent chances for his teammates up top. However, Richarlison has to find a way to be more consistent with his productivity in the final third if he wants to win a few trophies at the highest level.
At the moment, Richarlison is not playing his best football. However, he is about to enter his prime of him soon which means that Spurs can expect to get the best out of him if they can manage to bring him on board this summer.
Richarlison is good enough to offer some healthy competition for Heung-min Son and Harry Kane for a regular starting spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Thus, Antonio Conte would be wise to try everything he can to snap Richarlison up before the start of the new campaign as he could help bring some silverware back to the North London club in the not-too-distant future.
