In a recent retweet, journalist Ekrem Konur confirmed that Leicester City star Youri Tielemans is on the radar of Arsenal this summer. It is understood that the Foxes midfielder is a priority target for the Gunners ahead of the summer transfer window.

Tielemans has experienced an up and down campaign at Leicester as he struggled to help Leicester find consistency in terms of getting results in the Premier League. The 25-year-old has found the back of the net on seven occasions and grabbed five assists in 50 matches across various competitions.
The 49-time Belgium international has been a consistent performer at the heart of Brendan Rodgers’ midfield based on his average of 2.3 tackles, 0.7 interceptions, 1.1 clearances, 1.8 shots, 1.2 key passes and 0.8 dribbles per 90 minutes in Premier League football. He has even been excellent with his ball distribution after completing 83.5% of his attempted passes in the English first division (stats via whoscored).

Can Leicester City Afford To Lose Tielemans This Summer?
Tielemans is a solid tackler of the ball and can spot the danger quickly to make some important interceptions at the centre of the park. He doesn’t take too many risks when clearing the danger at the back and can strike the ball with power and accuracy from long range.
The Belgian sensation can set up a few promising chances in the opposition half and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet. He is a tidy passer of the ball as well but needs to work on improving his consistency if he wants to taste success at the highest level.
