In a recent report, The Evening Standard stated that Chelsea have been offered a chance to land Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus this summer. It is understood that the Blues have been given the opportunity to sign the Brazil international, who has just got a year left to run in his contract at the Etihad Stadium.

Jesus experienced a productive campaign in English football after he put in a run of eye-catching performances as a key member of Pep Guardiola’s attack. He helped Man City win the Premier League title and did well to score 13 goals and secure 12 assists in 41 matches for them last season across all fronts.
The 25-year-old has given a good account of himself in the final third by averaging 2.3 shots, 1.4 key passes and 1.6 dribbles per game in the Premier League. The Brazilian talent has even been excellent with his ball distribution after making 84.8% of his attempted passes in top-flight football (stats via whoscored).

Is Jesus A Decent Choice For Chelsea?
Jesus excels at creating space for himself to get a few shots in at goal and doesn’t mind working his socks off in running the channels up top. He can engineer a few meaningful openings for his teammates on the attacking end of the field.
The Brazilian sensation can use his quickness to make a few decent runs in behind the opposition backline and is transforming himself into a good finisher in the final third.
At 25, the Palmeiras-born talent has got his best years ahead of him which makes him a decent choice for the Blues to consider during this summer transfer window.
The West London outfit should think about recruiting Jesus as he will add a lot of pace and goals to their attack. He will even serve as a decent replacement for Romelu Lukaku who is currently unhappy with life at Stamford Bridge.
