In a recent report, Calciomercato claimed that Arsenal are leading the race to recruit Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City this summer. It has been stated that the Brazilian forward is very close to signing with the Gunners during this summer transfer period.

Jesus enjoyed an excellent campaign at the Etihad Stadium as he managed to put in a lot of influential performances for Man City in the final third. The Sao Paulo-born talent has banged in 13 goals and grabbed 12 assists in 41 matches for Man City this season across multiple competitions.
The 25-year-old has proven himself to be a consistent performer in the opposition half by averaging 2.3 shots, 1.4 key passes and 1.6 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Premier League.
He has even been accurate with his link-up play in the attacking end of the pitch based on his pass completion rate of 84.8% in the English top tier (stats via whoscored).
