Chelsea are set to face Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night as they look to bounce back from a hard-fought defeat in the FA Cup final. They hope to secure their current position, being on third, in the Premier League table with two games remaining as the season comes to an end.
The Foxes come into the match on the back of a thrilling 5-1 victory over Watford, whereas the Blues lost the chance to lift the FA Cup losing 5-6 over penalties to Liverpool.
Team News
Timo Werner is doubtful to feature after reportedly being injured before the last fixture. Furthermore, Thiago Silva could be benched after being sighted with muscular problems as he was taken off before the penalties despite finishing in the FA Cup final. Kai Havertz could return for the clash in the midweek after dealing with a hamstring injury.
Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ben Chilwell are unlikely to feature for the remainder of the games this season.
Thomas Tuchel would probably opt for the 3-4-3 formation with a couple of tweaks from the last match.
