Real Madrid faced off against Cadiz at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win on the road. Los Blancos made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the fifth minute when Mariano Diaz scored with an easy finish. However, the home team equalised in the 37th minute via Ruben Sobrino’s excellent strike. Both sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.
Real Madrid tried their best to retake the lead in the second half but ended up being held to a 1-1 draw at the full-time whistle.

Militao cleared the danger when required and passed the ball really well during the game.

He did what was required of him at the back but will be disappointed for not keeping a clean sheet.

Vazquez worked hard at the back and had some bright moments in the final third.

He won the ball back a couple of times and completed a few decent dribbles from midfield.
CM: Casemiro – 7.5/10
The Brazilian talent anchored the midfield quite well for his team and was a threat in the final third.
CM: Toni Kroos – 7.5/10
Kroos got stuck in with some solid tackles but created a few decent chances in the opposition half.
RW: Marco Asensio – 7.5/10
Asensio caused a lot of headaches for the Cadiz defenders but failed to take any of his chances.
ST: Mariano Diaz – 7/10
He scored an easy goal early in the game but struggled to take any of his other goal-scoring opportunities.
LW: Rodrygo – 7/10
Rodrygo was a constant menace down the left wing and picked up an assist during his time on the field.

Carvajal added more steel to Carlo Ancelotti’s defence.

The Belgian sensation caused a few problems for the opposition due to his dribbling.
