It has been revealed that the Red Devils are ready to knock on the Italian club’s door over a deal to bring the Nigeria international, who is being valued at €100m, to Old Trafford.

Osimhen is having an impressive campaign at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium as he has been responsible for putting a handful of match-winning displays over the past ten months. The 23-year-old has found the back of the net on 18 occasions and secured six assists in 31 matches for the Naples outfit this season in all competitions.
The Lagos-born talent deserves a lot of credit for averaging 3.5 shots, 0.6 key passes and 1.2 dribbles per 90 minutes in Serie A. However, he needs to take care of the ball a bit better in the final third, as evidenced by his pass completion rate of 70% in the top tier of Italian football (stats via whoscored).

What Will Osimhen Bring To Manchester United?
Osimhen has got the pace to cause a lot of headaches for the opposition centre-backs. He can make some well-timed runs in behind the opponent’s backline and is slowly transforming himself into a prolific finisher in the attacking end of the field. The talented frontman can even chip in by picking up his fair share of assists up top.
A centre-forward of Osimhem’s skillset will no doubt enhance the quality of Man United‘s squad. We can expect the Nigerian sensation to bring more pace and goals to the Red Devils‘ frontline and offer decent competition for Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford.
At 23, the Napoli star will only get better with each season. Thus, it is only logical for Man United to engineer a move to lure him to the Theatre of Dreams when the transfer window reopens later this year.
