Leeds United entertained Chelsea at Elland Road earlier tonight as they focused on securing a good result at home. The Whites made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the fourth minute when Mason Mount found the back of the net. Daniel James was sent off in the 24th minute which left the home team with a mountain to climb. Jesse Marsch’s men kept themselves in the contest and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Christian Pulisic made the points secure for Chelsea in the 55th minute before Romelu Lukaku scored his team’s third goal in the 83rd minute. The ten-men of Leeds ended up crashing to a poor 3-0 defeat in front of their home supporters.

The Brazilian winger failed to influence the game on the attacking end of the field but tracked back to defend at times when needed.
