Loftus-Cheek Gets 7.5, Mendy With 7 | Chelsea Players Rated In Poor Defeat Vs Everton

Chelsea faced off against Everton at Goodison Park earlier tonight as they focused on earning a good result on the road. The Blues were dominant in the first half but failed to be decisive in the final third as they went into the half-time interval with a 0-0 scoreline.

Thomas Tuchel’s men made a sloppy start to the second half as they conceded the opening goal in the 46th minute when Richarlison scored for Everton with a composed finish. The contest ended with the Blues suffering a poor 1-0 defeat at Merseyside.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player performed during the clash against the Toffees.

GK: Edouard Mendy – 7/10

Mendy made a few good saves and was tidy with his passing. However, he will be disappointed after conceding early in the second half.

CB: Cesar Azpilicueta – 5.5/10

The Spaniard looked shaky at the back and produced a disjointed display defensively during the game.

CB: Thiago Silva – 6.5/10

The Brazilian talent made some important defensive contributions and made one good chance in the opposition half.

CB: Antonio Rudiger – 6/10

Rudiger cleared the danger when required and was a threat at the other end of the field.
