In a recent report, The Sun stated that Chelsea are keeping tabs on Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Luka Hyrylainen. It is believed that the Blues are monitoring the progress of the Finnish youngster ahead of a potential move in the future.
Hyrylainen’s Recent Rise In German Youth Football
The 17-year-old is coming through the youth ranks of Eintracht Frankfurt after joining from HJK Helsinki back in 2020. He has enjoyed a decent rise in German football but is yet to taste top-flight football.
Hyrylainen has caught the eye for the German club’s Under-19 side as he has found the back of the opposition net on two occasions and registered three assists in 17 appearances for them so far.
The seven-time Finland international is destined to have a bright future in Europe as long as he continues to take strides towards improving his overall game with each season.

Chelsea Keeping Tabs On Hyrylainen: Is He A Prospect For The Future?
Hyrylainen is primarily a defensive midfielder but can also act as a box-to-box midfielder if required. He is usually a composed presence on the ball and can score or create a goal going forward every now and then.
However, the Finnish whizkid is still quite raw and would need time to hone his skills and become a top-flight midfielder someday. The Blues can afford to build for the future once their ownership future gets sorted which makes the Frankfurt prospect an exciting option for them to consider for the long run.
Thus, it is only logical for a top club like Chelsea to recruit someone as gifted as Hyryläinen this summer. His contract with Frankfurt is set to expire at the end of next season which could open the door for the West London club to sign him.
At 17, the future is quite promising for the Finnish talent. He will definitely be a prospect to watch out for in the future, especially under the watchful eyes of Thomas Tuchel, who could nurture him into a top talent at Stamford Bridge if Chelsea end up landing him in this off-season.
