Wood To Lead The Line, Dubravka In Goal | 4-3-3 Newcastle United Predicted Lineup Vs Norwich City

Newcastle United will visit Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday in the Premier League.

Norwich City come into the game on the back of a 3-2 loss against Manchester United in the Premier League. The Magpies come into the match with their ninth win in the last 13 Premier League games. Miguel Almiron’s superb first-half goal sealed Newcastle United’s victory over Crystal Palace, as their renaissance under Eddie Howe continued on Wednesday.

Eddie Howe will probably opt for the 4-3-3 formation; however, he might keep changes to a minimum for the upcoming home encounter.

Defence

Martin Dubravka will start in the goal for the upcoming away encounter. The Slovak shot-stopper would hope to put up a strong performance and secure a clean sheet on Saturday.

Fabian Schar and Dan Burn would look to create a centre-half partnership at the heart of the Magpies’ backline.

Matt Target starts at the left-back position as Kieran Trippier isn’t expected to return anytime soon following injury woes, whereas Emile Krafth might fill in on the opposite flank as the right-back. They will look to stretch the opposition’s defence and create chances for the forwards.

Midfield

Bruno Guimaraes will partner with Joelinton and Jonjo Shelvey to hold the central midfield positions, with the former occupying a more defensive role. The duo would be determined to set up some clear-cut goal-scoring chances for the men up front.

Attack

Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin will take up the wide positions, playing down the right and left-wing, respectively.

Chris Wood will lead the line against the Canaries, and the striker would fancy his chances of finding the back of the net.
